Mangalajodi is an olden village under Tangi, Odisha block in Khordha district of Odisha at the northern edge of Chilika Lake. The scenic beauty of this village and its vast wetland attracts visitors. In 2017 this village is declared and functioning as a separate Grama Panchayat. It’s a famous wetland that hosts lakhs of migratory birds every year.
MANGALAJODI EXPEDITIONS
DAY 1
- Check-in and freshen up for the lunch
- After the delicious lunch, we will be moving towards the jetty
- A brief will be given to know the place and habitats of the birds
- We can have a boat ride to capture the birds in action
- Return by evening and be ready for the post-processing workshop
- Dinner and go to bed
DAY 2 - 3
- Early morning we will start the boating again
- Return and have some breakfast
- Post lunch we will be going the boating again
- In the evening we will have a night walk and look for astrophotography
- Image review session in evening before dinner
- Dinner and go to bed

- Early morning start boating at the wetland
- Look for more action shots of Black-headed Ibis & Herons
- We hope your memory cards are now full of action shots
- Return and have some breakfast
- Pack-up and we ready for the departure to Bhubaneswar

As people travel from different parts of the country to our expeditions it is not convenient to arrange this from our end, but we can arrange pick-up & drop from the nearest airport or railway stations.
